So now what...

I have moved into a very big place with a large kitchen and counter height my grandmother would love. Patiently getting my things in order to start making soap and other things.

I now have my printer so I should be able to resume my studies.. which I will commence again now.

In with the new and....wait?

New fridge today.

I now have a new glass cutting board (large enough to roll out pie crust) and a small glass board for small jobs. The racks will be for drying soap and pull out vegie drawers will hold soap making supplies or whatever ( there are three). The old fridge had many usable parts.

It takes time to move into an apartment. And this one is very nice. With over 600 square feet at my disposal, the tools I have available, and resourses within the community I should be pretty busy if I want to be.

Now to make my sofa bed. I sold my African Mahogany Rose carved sofa and I need something. Won't be as elaborate, but serviceable yes. Maybe I will make it into a Murphy bed. I will decide when I have the stuff here.

French toast carmelizing, ah we all get second chances

Fridge found and should be here tomorrow. Not like was worried. It is winter after all and the storage area is cold like a fridge. It even has a working toilet....

Found another foot warmer even better than the can so I should thank MCA for the recipe and the new warmer. Too bad he couldn't try out for the Recipe to Riches competition, pretty sure he would have  seen the judges. I just hope he doesn't forget the patented recipes while in his itsey apartment.  Visions of black bottomed pie  might make daughter uncomfortable 'bout visiting if not the significant ( yes I said significant) other.

The challenges faced when moving into a new place.

So I  Have now moved and am in my new apartment, duplex. Who knew there is a condition that says fireplaces are not to be used by tenants. This fireplace is over 50 years old and never used. Well, besides it sucking all the radient heat from the heating supply in the ceiling, unbeknownst to the lawmakers, who didn't know about me, I am nicely curled up to the fireplace while it gives off warmth. Nope... no burning wood and no smoke.

Did you other people with capped fireplaces know about the dampers? Amazing devices they are. With the rain hitting the cap and a little sound of wind whistling one can vision an open fire on a cold winter's day.

Now to move onto the next challenge. Satelite computer TV.

Snowfall in Wolfville

So we had a couple of flakes of snow fall. Not the most I've seen but more than our normal fluff gathering. Driveway needs shoveling, winds are moderate to light or this place is rather air tight. Great day for an easy light mid morning brunch. French toast is coming to mind.

Can't wait for the fresh maple syrup that will be coming in just a few short weeks away. If any of you have heard of Sugar Moon in Kemptown, Nova Scotia. They have a syrup farm and serve up a mean pancake and syrup breakfast in season. A group of us made the New Years Dinner there some time back. Everything had maple syrup in the recipe, including the salad dressing.

Not much, other than a car is coming up green today. Just a regular Saturday inside while the elements manage the outside. The Farmer's Market sent note that they were closing on this Saturday in prep. for the storm. So no vendors ventured out. When a child, Saturday morning cartoons took hold of most part, today Netflix provides movies. And Facebook keeps us current and up to date all over with our friends posts, so as long as there is battery on the computer there is contact.

Have a safe and enjoyable storm day.

I wonder who and why?

I apparently, well the blog, has a ghost. Having an issue with the computer then..."you have logged out from another location". Seeing how it is physically an improbability that I can teletransport I must conclude someone else has accessed my blog. While I thank viewers and this someone is a definite viewer I do not want to give the impression that I condone the hack.

There is no need for someone other than myself to access this blog as it is a free blogspot and you can make up your very own. I chose bubbles because I am into soap making and it is a hobby, interest, and pasttime. You, the hacker, seem quite knowledgeable when it come to computers. You see my point? There are some pretty good blogs out there. Information for everyone.

Mine is a new blog, just in its beginning and yes a very good conversation for young and old. It is a great educational aid because bubbles are used in so many educational applications that I was not not aware of when I started to write this. I am learning geography, history, culture, and just being entertained by all the videos I am seeing from all over the world. I am learning much.

So I guess I what I am saying is my computer is slow and when you are on my site it is even slower and shuts me out, please write your own blog and perhaps I will view it.

Thank you for viewing my blog and thinking it worthwhile to hack.
